One of the Braven core values is “Go together; go further” in the spirit of the African proverb, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Partnering with colleges and universities, employers, and other organizations enables Braven to go further in delivering on its promise to develop and connect the nation’s next generation of global, diverse leaders. Read below to learn more about how you can partner with Braven.
Colleges and Universities
We currently offer programming at San José State University and Rutgers University – Newark. We seek to partner with additional colleges and universities in the Bay Area and NYC Area while, in the future, exploring new regional sites where there is demand for our program. If you are a student or university administrator interested in bringing Braven to your campus, please express your interest here.
We connect with mission-aligned anchor employers to help you build your diverse leadership force – today and into the future. At the core of our partnership model, we recruit promising rising leaders in your organization to serve as volunteer Leadership Coaches. The Leadership Coach role provides professional development that builds skills relevant to leading diverse teams while connecting employees to meaningful community engagement that they seek. Through partnership, anchor employers also increase awareness for their organization among and signal their values to Braven’s community of promising, diverse young talent.
Additionally, Bay Area and Newark based organizations have the opportunity to sponsor two programmatic events every semester: our Design Thinking Hackathon or our Live Your Legacy Celebration. Learn more about the Spring 2017 Bay Area Hackathon here and the Spring 2017 Bay Area Celebration here. Email email@example.com to express interest in sponsoring either event.
