    A Braven staff member will reach out to schedule an interview. We’ll share more about our program, answer all your questions, and learn more about you to determine if coaching is a good fit. If selected, you’ll receive an invitation to serve as a Leadership Coach.

  • Commit

    Select the time slot for your weekly meeting that fits best with your schedule. Commit for a semester or a year.

  • Onboard

    Attend our engaging, in-person group training to prepare you for the semester ahead. Build relationships with other Leadership Coaches and Braven staff. Develop your understanding of the Braven curriculum. Lay a foundation for skills coaches use. Familiarize yourself with our online portal.

  • Coach

    Meet weekly with your cohort for a highly-interactive session. Most meetings are in-person. Share your experience and expertise. Model skills and mindsets. Challenge your Fellows. Step back to let them take the lead, challenge one another, and fail forward. Support them to reflect on their growth and mastery.Help facilitate our mid-semester weekend Story of Self workshop. Experience with your Fellows a world-class workshop in storytelling.

  • Mentor

    Meet individually with each Fellow twice during the semester. Ensure Fellows are setting and making progress toward ambitious professional goals. Strengthen relationships.

  • Develop

    Participate in ongoing Leadership Coach group training calls, led by Braven staff. Complete independent online activities. Practice the management skills that make you a better coach – and benefit you in your career.

  • Showcase
    showcase-img

    Manage your cohort through our rigorous Capstone experience. Help them apply a design-thinking toolkit to a current, real-world challenge. Prepare them to present. Invite friends and colleagues to attend and share in your pride and our celebration.

  • Advocate

    Champion your students as they continue on their paths. Connect them to opportunities and individuals in your network. Stay engaged with Braven by returning to coach or by sharing the opportunity with your network.

You can commit to all Leadership Coach responsibilities for the full semester, including:

  • About 3.5 hours weekly: 2-hour cohort session plus 1.5 hours of independent prep
  • Three events: Leadership Coach onboarding, our mid-semester Storytelling as Leadership Workshop, and the Live Your Legacy Celebration (see below for program-specific dates)
  • Two 30-minute individual coaching sessions with each Fellow
